It is not unusual to hear stories of people keeping family or friends in the dark about aspects of their finances (credit card debt or gambling losses, for example) and how those issues caused problems in a relationship or within a company. family.

Sometimes, however, there are good secrets about money, some of which had positive results, like a grandmother who quietly stashed extra money in a retirement account that helped pay for expenses in her later years. Or unmentioned savings that allowed someone to leave an inheritance that helped family members. We would like to hear those stories.
