Harlan Coben is one of the most prolific writers of our time and signed a contract in 2018 (later renewed in 2022) with Netflix that will adapt many of his novels into Netflix original productions. As of October 2022, there are 7 Harlan Coben shows on Netflix, with many more on the way. Here’s your guide to Harlan Coben on Netflix.

While we don’t have a full picture of Harlan Coben’s deal with Netflix, we originally did. ran until 2023 but it got a facelift in 2022, which means there’s a lot more Coben to come.

Coben had officially stated that he hoped to continue working with Netflix and that he currently has plans for two more shows, which would bring him to “nine of the 14 planned when the deal closed.”

Myron Bolitar’s series, which ran from 1995 to 2016 in 11 premieres, was notably excluded from the Netflix deal initially struck, but will be included from 2022 onwards.

Coben’s production company, Final Twist Productions, is behind these titles along with Netflix.

The original deal called for Netflix to adapt Coben’s range of books into multiple languages, which began in mid-2020 with the forest The limited series made headlines for being the second major Netflix original production in Poland.

Starring local talent including Grzegorz Damiecki, Agnieszka Grochowska and Hubert Milkowski, the series followed a prosecutor’s hope of finding answers to his sister’s disappearance 25 years earlier.

Coming to Netflix at the end of April 2021, it is the first Spanish production from Harlan Coben’s library.

Oriol Paulo adapted the limited series starring Mario Casas, Alexandra Jiménez, Aura Garrido and José Coronado.

The eight-episode series follows an accidental murder that leads a man down a dark hole of intrigue and murder.

Returning to the UK is stay closeproduction that took place in early 2021.

Daniel O’Hara directed the 8-episode limited series. The original book is set in a more american setting so it will be interesting to see how he adapts to his new British surroundings.

Regarding the talent chosen for the new limited series, Coben said: “Talking about a cast of dreams come true: Cush Jumbo, an incendiary and incredible talent; Jimmy Nesbitt, a legendary actor who I always wanted to collaborate with; and wow, Richard Armitage again! Harlan Coben’s Upcoming Shows Announced For Netflix

Announced in February 2023, this new limited series will be set in the UK and will adapt Coben’s 2016 novel.

The eight-part series will follow Maya Stern, who is trying to come to terms with the brutal murder of her husband.

Michelle Keegan, Adeel Akhtar, Richard Armitage and Joanna Lumley lead the cast of the series.

Announced as part of the update of the withdrawal agreement in 2022 was a new English-language series that would become “the streamer’s first US-produced show based on Coben’s novels”.

The series will reportedly continue, likely adapting the books in order.

First announced in May 2020, David Ayer was announced to be on board to direct this book as a feature film with Jonathan W. Stokes working on the script.

Unfortunately, since the original announcement, we have not heard anything about its development.
