“It has hurt me a lot”

The victim’s cousin explained that Alves insisted to the complainant that they go “somewhere together”, but she did not want to. Then Alves accessed a door “that she didn’t know where she was going” and waited for the victim to come. “I told him to go talk to him,” added the witness. “They were there for about 15 minutes.”

When the door opened and the player came out, he followed the young woman; the complainant took “about two minutes” to do the same. At this point, the witness began to cry. “She didn’t say anything to me, but she made a very bad face.” Then, in the cloakroom, the victim already verbalized: “she has hurt me a lot,” said the victim, who explained that she had been raped. That was when the nightclub activated the protocol.
