by Two people died and five others were injured after a violent collision between a bus and a truck in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Balvanera. The two victims were thrown from the bed of the truck and hit the pavement.
The accident It occurred at the intersection of Viamonte and Paso streets. The victims died at the scene; while the injured were transferred to different hospitals.
As confirmed by sources from the City Police ClarionThe two deceased men were traveling in the bed of the truck, which was transporting grease.
Meanwhile, the injured are the drivers of the truck and the bus, who were helped to get out and transported by SAME ambulances along with three passengers. All were referred to the Ramos Mejía and Durand Hospitals with various multiple traumas.

The crash occurred against the right side of the bus, above the door where passengers usually board.
The two victims are between 30 and 40 years old, as the head of SAME, Alberto Crescenti, was able to say. Together with his team they were a few blocks away, attending to a fire at the Felfort chocolate factory, when they received the alert about the crash. Personnel from Neighborhood Police Station 3 C also participated.
“We moved with ten ambulances because we did not know how many were injured. We found two deceased, who were in the bed of the truck who were thrown and fell on the asphalt. “They died instantly, nothing could be done for them.”Crescenti lamented.
“We took the driver of the truck out of the cabin, we transferred him to the Durand hospital. We took out the driver of bus 99 and three passengers that we transferred. The front of the bus and the truck are destroyed. One of the two passed on red, but we have to wait the expertise to know which one,” concluded the head of SAME.
Claudia, a passenger who was on board the bus, spoke with TN and said that the truck “appeared suddenly.” She was inside the unit on the side where the impact occurred and she was able to see the entire sequence.

Claudia was traveling on the bus and said that the truck “appeared suddenly and it was impossible to avoid it.”
“The bus was not going at speed because it had just come from starting at the stop. And suddenly the truck appeared, it was impossible for the bus to stop. The two boys who were up there flew, one tried to grab him but hit the bus window completely,” he said.
The woman mourned for the two workers who died on top of the truck and reported that they died instantly. “When we came down they were lying there, motionless,” she reconstructed.
