The next February 14th is marked as the date limit so that the country’s communication groups can complete what has been called DTT blackout: permanently remove standard definition channels (South Dakota) and make way for the consolidation of high definition (High Definition). This update, which according to the Government will only affect the 2% of the total population in Spain, represents the bye definitive to certain emissions, which will be immediately replaced by their equivalents updated. Therefore, it is important to take into account which channels already have a modality. High Definition and which ones have yet to make the transition, as there are differences between each other, even within the same group. This is precisely the case of Atresmedia.
